Debate House is a Greek non-profit dedicated to strengthening democratic dialogue. The country's largest political dialogue initiative, it convenes citizens, experts, and policymakers from across the political spectrum in structured public debates, seminars, and round tables on the issues shaping Greek public life. Drawing on established debate formats and clear rules of engagement, the organization creates space for disagreement that is rigorous rather than hostile and substantive rather than performative. Each event combines careful preparation, expert moderation, and audience participation so that opposing arguments meet in genuine exchange. Operating bilingually in Greek and English, Debate House partners with universities, civic groups, and policy institutions to convene the conversations that public life requires — and to make them accessible to any citizen willing to engage.

Voice & tone
How we sound when we communicate.
Civic
We speak with the weight that public dialogue deserves — substantive, considered, without being academic or distant.
Non-partisan
We host every side of every debate. Our voice does not lean — it convenes.
Accessible
We write so a thoughtful citizen — not a political-science graduate — can follow. Plain words, short sentences.
