Nikos Pappas

Nikos Pappas was born in 1976 in Athens.
He studied Economics in Scotland and completed his PhD at the University of Strathclyde. He worked as a researcher and from 2008 served as Director of Alexis Tsipras' Political Office. He was elected to Parliament with SYRIZA in 2015 and served as Minister of State and Minister of Digital Policy. Until 2023, he was Head of the Infrastructure and Transport policy section, and he currently serves as Parliamentary Spokesperson of SYRIZA-PS.
